Nestled in the hills of the Blue Ridge, the new addition for a charming historic bungalow reflects the lives an active family of four with a love of fishing, outdoors and their two pups. The project began as a “little more room inside” and a deck became an extension to the home that would include two stories completed in phases. The entry to the new living room is framed by the original sunroom windows which includes living space anchored by a new stone fireplace, a dining area and beautiful sliders opening onto a glorious deck overlooking the treetops. The ground floor will one day become a finished bedroom suite for the owner’s two girls, as well as an additional family rec room.
